Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year. May 2006 be a God
blessed adventure, filled with divine opportunities
to experience God’s plan for your life.
We are writing this
newsletter from Waveland, Mississippi, where
we’ve been helping rebuild a church and
reach out to victims of hurricane Katrina. Every
structure in Waveland was either totally destroyed
or damaged.
Almost four months after Katrina
very few businesses
have reopened and many |
residents are
still living in tents or trailers provided
by FEMA. Much
of the area looks like the above picture.
One thing we noticed right away was
although most man-made structures were damaged,
many of the trees appeared as if they hadn’t
been touched. It seems like the stuff God made weathered the storm fine;
even though the things made by men were destroyed. The Bible challenges
us to trust in eternal things, God things, not temporary stuff made by human
hands, which can be here today and gone tomorrow.

Most of us will
never experience a natural disaster like
hurricane Katrina, but, all of us have faced
the storms and disasters of life.
Jesus promises
that those who trust in him will have a rock
foundation when the winds and rain and floods
of life come our way. Only
God can promise He’ll never leave, never forsake, never disappoint.
Thank you for your faithful support, prayers and encouragement. We’re
looking forward to 2006 and continued ministry to America’s 8 million
bikers and motorcyclists.
