I was not experienced in riding my new H-D Heritage Softail on dirt, gravel or grass.
We arrived, turned into the parking area for the venue, and I rode through a rutted dirt path, some loose gravel, and came to rest on some grass, wet from the evening dew. I was removing my helmet and gathering my composure, when a young man approached me.
He was impressed with my "ride," my riding skills but was also so drunk he was spilling his current beer onto the ground as he talked. I spent a little time talking with him, and he was very impressed that two Christians would come to this event to tell people about Jesus.
He told me that his grandmother used to pray for him all the time, but she had recently passed away, so, he had no one praying for him. I promised Billy that I would pray for him, he was moved to tears.
No one prays for, ___________. You fill in the blank. Who needs a Christian to make this promise to fill a void - be the grandma that prayed for Billy. Step up!!
